Programs and Projects
For the past four years MoH has determined areas of
vital need for the people living in the Pimampiro region
of the northern Andes of Ecuador. Building bridges
between Pimampiro and US communities, MoH is
successfully promoting the following programs in
dynamic collaboration with schools, organizations,
social service agencies and businesses.
Enriching the educational
and creative development
of children and youth.
Providing tuition and basic
educational materials to
enable young women to
attend the all-girl trade
school Centro Artesanal.
Supporting the outstanding
children's programs INNFA and
AALV(Amor a la Vida)with
educational supplies, creative
materials and teacher training.
Sponsoring soccer teams, dance
groups, music lessons, carpentry
classes, puppet troupes and
special events for teens who
sorely lack recreational and
cultural activities.
Promoting ecologically
beneficial projects in
environmental conservation,
organic agriculture and
nutritional education.
Stories about special projects,
events, field trips, and surprises.
IntiDesigns - supporting Andean artisans by incorporating
indigenous craft into current fashion using natural materials.
Fair trade practices are honored
